Xie Huizhi is from Hangzhou, China mainland. She obtained her bachelor's and master’s degree in stomatology from Zhejiang University and she is continuing her Ph.D. in orthopedic tissue engineering at the University of Hong Kong in 2020. She has experience in extracellular vesicles (EVs) and bone regeneration studies. In the past, she has worked on the EVs for bone defect healing and the mechanism involved in dental pulp repairing. For her work, she was co-authored in a publication in the journal named the international journal of endodontics. He joined the lab to work on materials related fields and would like to expand her knowledge by cooperating with the multidisciplinary team at this lab. In her free time, Huizhi enjoys hiking, listening to music, playing chess, and seeking delicious food.
