Bei Ho Pan is from Hong Kong, China. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has extensive experience in theranostic nanoparticle drug delivery. In the past, he has worked on bioprinting and surface modification of stents for improved hemocompatibility. For his work he was co-authored in publications in journals Nanoletters and Small Communication. He joined Zhao’s Lab to work on nanoparticle and electrospun fiber for prevention of hypertophic scarring and he hopes to expand his knowledge with interdisciplinary members in the lab. In his free time Bei Ho Pan enjoys reading fiction, and writing narrative literature.
