Richard (Zhi Fei) Dong is from Shanghai, China. He was a Bioinformatics and Biophysics with Medical Physics Specialization undergraduate student at University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Canada. He joined Dr. Zhao's lab to work on a project of 3D printing techniques and nanotechnology to create 3D printed polymeric scaffolds loaded with calcium phosphate nanoparticles to release drugs and DNA in a controlled manner for bone regeneration. In his free time, Richard enjoys travelling, playing the piano, and reading books.
